Maurice R. Beaulieu Sr., 98, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Born and raised in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Elphege and Mary Ida Breault Beaulieu. He was married to the late Evelyn D’Andrea Beaulieu for 66 years. Together, they raised three children: the late Sandra Beaulieu DiMarzio, Paulette Beaulieu and Maurice R. Beaulieu Jr. He was father-in-law to the late John DiMarzio. He also leaves four grandchildren: John DiMarzio Jr., Steven M. DiMarzio, Heather Lavender and Maurice R. Beaulieu III. He will be sadly missed by six great-grandchildren: John, Benjamin, Sophia and Olivia DiMarzio and Faith and Noah Lavender.

Maurice attended primary school in Pawtucket and graduated from Providence College, class of 1951. He was a Disabled WWII Veteran in the US Army Air Corp. He was a retired educator, who taught for 37 years in the Pawtucket school system. Maurice was a devote Catholic and member of the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was also a member of the Le Foyer Club in Pawtucket, a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus at the Bouffard Council in North Providence and 4th Degree and Past Faithful Navigator for the Adams Assembly. Maurice enjoyed golf and playing cards with his friends, fellow council members and son-in-law, John, at the Bouffard Council in North Providence.

Friends and relatives are invited to gather at a funeral mass for Maurice at the Church of the Presentation in North Providence on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11:00am. The burial will be private.
